I really love the framing and presentation of this series. It adds character the series. I’d like to read about the concept behind the series but I cannot find the writing as of yet..
Study of Perspective (1995-2003) is a series of photographs by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. Each photograph shows the artist flipping his middle finger at many iconic landmarks and places across the world. His gesture confronts the viewers with a universal statement of political opposition.

One of my teachers recommended that I try and animate/change photos of the mini landscapes that I am making. I found this and if I were to try anything with stop motion I would want it to be really simple and quite like this.

Ian Ruther has built a van camera to create wet plates. These were the same methods used to create Ambrotypes.. in the 1800/1900’s. I’ve been looking into creating my own portable darkroom and doing this myself ever since I went to see the Walter Hugo exhibition in london two months ago. Hands down the most awesome skate photos ever… FUCK I CAN’T BELIEVE ITS BEEN DONE!!
He spent his life savings and it’s costing him about 500$ per photo O_O shit sonnn!
